On November 6, Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Haisum, along with Vice Presidents Zhang Zhi and Li Shijun, led a delegation to Yunnan Investment Group (hereinafter referred to as "YIG") to meet with Liu Minglin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President, and Vice Chairman of YIG, Luo Yubin, the Vice President, Shi Bingyou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp, and Vice General Manager Su Wende, and other leaders.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides introduced their respective corporate histories, development course, and key achievements. Representatives from China Haisum Shanghai headquarters and China Light Industry Nanning elaborated on their expertise in pulp and paper technology, as well as past cooperations with YIG, leading to in-depth discussions around the topic.
Liu Minglin expressed full confidence in deepening bilateral cooperation and expectations of making more progress and achievements in consolidating cooperation achievements, accelerating cooperation project construction, and expanding cooperation areas.
Luo Yubin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from China Haisum. He emphasized that, as a provincial platform company driving policy-driven projects in Yunnan, YIG serves as the main implementer for the strategic deployment of the provincial Party committee and provincial government. He expressed willingness to strengthen communication, mutual learning and promotion with China Haisum, and leverage their respective strengths, to explore innovative cooperation models, and achieve mutual development.
Chen Rongrong thanked YIG for its warm reception and noted that the YIG is a high-quality partner for China Haisum, and is expected to establish further cooperation in pulp and paper industry, smart engineering, energy conservation, and environmental protection, and other other fields, through resource sharing and complementary advantages, so as to explore innovative cooperation models, foster sustained business growth, and contribute to the economic development of Yunnan Province and even the whole country.
During the visit, the delegation toured the culture exhibition hall of YIG. The exchange activity was attended by relevant department heads from YIG and its subsidiary Yunnan Investment Forestry and Pulp, as well as leaders from China Haisum headquarters, Shanghai headquarters, and China Light Industry Nanning.
